In some places, split-type temperature transmitters are used, while in other places integrated temperature transmitters are chosen. What applications are suitable for each type of temperature transmitter, and what are their respective features?
The installation forms vary; the vast majority are integrated, while split types are relatively rare. If the installation location is very high, you will find the split-type to be more convenient
Being integrated, with the temperature-sensing element located close to the amplification circuit and both being enclosed within the same fully metal shield, it naturally has better interference resistance. However, since the signal amplification circuit in the junction box is near the heat source, temperature errors can occur on the circuit board; if the junction box gets too hot, there is also a risk of damaging the circuit board. Separate, naturally being the opposite of integrated, will not be discussed here.
Generally, there are no special requirements; integration simply reduces the need for additional signal conversion steps. However, in most cases it was due to design considerations in the past that led to a separated design, and such designs are now less common

May I ask at what temperature should a split-type temperature transmitter be used?
When the temperature range of the object being measured exceeds normal temperatures, for example when it is above 100°C, I think a split-type design could be considered – that is, a separate transmitter board junction box or similar – which should be installed in a location that is protected from wind and rain, facilitates wiring and maintenance, and allows for easy monitoring.
They are basically all integrated. Split applications are rare.
