As shown in the diagram, the ammonia pipeline and the dilution fan are located on the same elevation level, with a distance of less than 1 meter between them. May I ask the experienced colleagues whether such a design violates the explosion protection regulations? Are the ammonia pipelines and motors located inside the tightly enclosed boiler area? Should this be considered in terms of outdoor or indoor conditions? ?
In my opinion, it’s not a matter of explosion prevention; rather, it’s related to the operation and maintenance of the pump – such a short distance is problematic.
