What does \"movable external thread\" mean in terms of the installation method of bimetallic thermometers? Is the insertion depth adjustable? Additionally, what pressure range can this type of connection handle?
Finding a manufacturer’s selection sample will make it clear.
In the sample, it mentions movable external threads; I don’t understand what that means
Movable external thread means that, as the term external thread implies, it is movable – that is, this thread can be adjusted up and down. In other words, the insertion depth can be adjusted
It should be the insertion depth that is adjustable; there’s a clamp similar to one used in card sleeves, which allows for adjustment based on the desired insertion depth. Generally, bimetallic materials are also used in conjunction with pipes, so pressure does not need to be considered
