Dear sea friends, I have two questions I’d like to ask. 1. Are there any standards for diagnostic testing of systems such as DCS/SIS/ESD, what is the frequency of such testing, and what specific aspects are included in the diagnostic tests? ? Can I perform diagnostic tests on my own? 2. Does the on-site interlock pump of the device need to have the “Interlock” label marked in a prominent position on the coupling guard? What other information needs to be filled in for the label? What are the criteria?
DCS/SIS/ESD systems are generally tested once a year. The testing methods are as follows: 1. Apply simulated signals on-site; by referring to the logic diagram, check whether the corresponding valves and equipment operate in response to the interlock signals, whether alarms appear on the auxiliary control panel, whether the interlock lights turn on, and whether there are any alarm or interlock alerts on the computer (for systems that do not have such capabilities, it is sufficient to check whether the electrical system receives the signals). 2. Test the emergency stop buttons on the auxiliary control panel. 3. The interlock soft switches available on the computer also need to be tested.
Tests are generally carried out in accordance with the equipment maintenance cycle. Channel testing is the most important; logic testing can be done on a sample basis.

To add more information regarding the second floor: The reliability of a SIS system is generally determined based on the frequency of testing, which is once a year. If the SIS system is calibrated every six months, it can achieve a SIL2 rating; whereas calibration once a year may only result in a SIL1 rating. In most cases, however, an annual calibration is sufficient. During calibration, it is necessary to test all the components within the entire circuit, as the reliability of the SIS system is assessed based on the entire circuit as a whole
