Can the DCS tuning set the set value as a range?

For example, in the case of a tank, a temperature range of 30–60 degrees is sufficient. Is it possible to configure such a system so that the hot water jacket valve opens when the temperature is below 30 degrees, and closes when the temperature is above 60 degrees? By the same logic, can parameters such as pressure, liquid level, and flow rate be set to allow range adjustment?

Isn’t this just PID control? It’s a form of cascade control
