Do all Allen-Bradley DCS systems require servers?

I have a question: do all Rockwell Automation DCS systems require servers, including for storing historical data (trends), or other servers as well? Can historical data and real-time data be stored directly on the operation station? Operation similar to Siemens WINCC single station, thank you
The so-called server is actually an operation station, but when this operation station crashes, all computers cannot access the data on it
Typically, small-scale factories have several host computers, that is, operation stations; there are usually two history stations, a primary history station and a secondary history station, with the data being stored directly on computer hard drives
Hollyland’s systems aren’t the latest; can they operate in P2P mode? Does that mean servers are not necessary?
I have never used Hilscher’s systems. Zhejiang Zhongkong’s DCS does not require servers; it has control stations instead
