What factors need to be considered when allocating the design point table in a DCS system? For example: consider whether the cards are redundant, the importance of the circuits, the fact that two-out-of-three voting points cannot be on the same card, etc. Are there any other things?
A few additional points: for spare points and card allocation, points in intrinsically safe circuits should not be assigned to the same card as those in non-intrinsically safe circuits. If an instrument wiring box is installed on site, and explosion-proof wiring boxes are used in the explosion-proof circuits, should explosion-proof wiring boxes also be used for the intrinsically safe circuits?
Is an intrinsically safe circuit also required to use a flameproof junction box? Theoretically, a wiring box that is waterproof and dustproof would work, but in practice, various safety regulations require the use of explosion-proof designs for any electrical signals in explosive environments.
