Difference between blind flanges and regular through-flanges: Apart from the difference between blind flanges and through-flanges, is there any relationship regarding flange thickness? Are there any relevant documents! For example, the data shows that the normal through-hole thickness for DN80PN40 is 24; what is the thickness of the blind flange? Many manufacturers say that it should be thinner than the thickness of regular through-hole flanges – are there any relevant documents? Automatic control instruments
The blind flange for DN80 is 12-13 mm thick. The company uses them in bar production; they are much thinner than conventional ones
Ask the pipeline engineering team about the flange standards.
I’m not sure about 40kg: lol
