I’m not sure how exactly to send a signal from the signal generator; I tried using both those with power distribution and those without it, but neither worked. Specifically, I connected the test leads to the transmitter’s power terminals, and no signal could be sent in. I mainly want to see the display values corresponding to different current models for the transmitter. Thank you all

Can the transmitter receive 4-20mA? The transmitter is not a DCS, so it cannot handle 4-20mA signals. A signal generator is used to generate a 4-20mA signal from an analog transmitter; it should not be connected to the transmitter during simulation.
