Since I have been working with field instruments in the past and have no experience in programming PCS7 systems, I would like to ask whether the TDS salinity monitoring uses AI, AO, DI, or DO Should it be connected to an available terminal, or directly to the module? How can I find this table on the engineer station’s CFC and incorporate it into the computer image? :'(Thank you so much~
The function of this device is simply to transmit the signals collected on-site to the DCS (whether they are AI or AO signals), and then to the display on the control computer; it sounds easy in theory but seems quite difficult in practice~
For AI signals, it’s still necessary to learn PCS7 programming in order to work on them effectively; since the programs need to be installed after development, care must be taken
The original poster is a beginner who has little knowledge of control systems, so it’s quite interesting that the company has entrusted such tasks to him. It could be exercise, or it could be a trap.
Okay, one for power and one for signal; guidance can be provided when it’s time to do it~
The manager meant to test me. I made it clear to him that I’m not very good at programming and need someone to guide me. It’s okay; I’m still young, and since the manager said that, there will be someone else to take care of things if anything goes wrong. I consider it a try. However, I won’t carry out operations I’m not confident about lightly.
