The signal output by a differential pressure transmitter is sent to two DCS systems via a distributor, but why might the readings at these two systems differ? How to solve it?
For problems with signal distributors, the cause can be identified by measuring the input current and output current
Is the range of the DCS constant, and are the signal lines affected by interference?
The range is the same; it’s something that has been in use for several years. I only recently noticed this issue, and since I’m new to this, I don’t quite understand it
I’ve also considered this; I’m trying to figure out what other possible reasons there could be. Since it’s troublesome to conduct such an investigation each time, I want to take into account all possible causes in order to resolve the issue once and for all
That’s for sure; I’m just worried that the signal distributor isn’t good enough
Then we can only check whether the current signals at each terminal have weakened before making a judgment
Since the range is the same, the issues are these: the signal distributor, the power supply for the signal distributor, the cables leading to the DCS, and the card channels in the DCS. Let’s try a different signal distributor first; this one has a higher failure rate.
