It is an online smoke monitoring device; the chimney is made of iron plates coated with paint, and the exhaust outlet is equipped with instruments for measuring temperature, pressure, flow rate, and dust levels. As soon as the fans in the factory start operating, these values drop to zero within a few seconds, but they return to normal once the fans stop. What could be the cause? The images below show the terminal block connected to the platform and the values dropping to zero just a few seconds after the fans start running. It is initially suspected that strong electrical interference, or some leakage of electricity within the factory, is causing this issue. What is the cause, and how can it be diagnosed?
The details are still not detailed enough; for example, how are these watches powered? Was it useful before? How long has it been in use? When did the failure occur? How long has it been appearing? Did anything move before it appeared? What is the relationship between the fan power supply, the power supply system, and the instrumentation system?
You already said that it resets to zero as soon as the fan starts... Is the fan variable frequency? Frequency conversion has a significant impact on this interference. Re-route the cables at these points, making sure to keep them separate from the electrical cables and providing proper shielding
Power-frequency interference contaminates the power grid, which in turn spoils the excitation power supply for instruments, as well as the output power supply that powers these instruments and other components; as a result, things start to go wrong. Do some power supply purification, that’s it.....
