Feedback of pneumatic switch diaphragm valves

I have never used a pneumatic diaphragm valve. Could you tell me why, in the drawings, the feedback for the pneumatic control diaphragm valve is only related to whether it has reached its intended position?
The design assumes that the process control valves can be closed properly when necessary; therefore, a signal indicating that they have been closed properly is quite important. Only after feedback on successful closure is received by the process operators can the next steps be taken.
So under normal circumstances, can a diaphragm valve provide feedback with two signals: one indicating full opening and another indicating full closing?
