How does the HIMA system read the number of forced points?

To read the number of forced points in the HIMA system (H51 series), is it necessary to use an intermediate variable?
I checked the manual; this parameter is not available in the system variables – there are only BOOL status values such as Force switches outputs/inputs and Master force outputs/inputs. It can be seen in the pop-up panel for the force switch under the control panel interface
I consulted an HIMA engineer; by adding a UINT (unsigned integer) variable and connecting it to the internal variable for the force value through HIMA’s HW assignment, this can be achieved.
