Maintenance methods for pneumatic butterfly valves: 1. During use, pneumatic butterfly valves should be kept clean at all times; the transmission threads must be lubricated regularly. In the event of any faults, use should be stopped immediately, and the cause of the problem should be identified in order to resolve it. 2. The bolts of the packing gland should be tightened evenly; they should not be compressed unevenly, as this could damage components and prevent the valve stem from moving or cause leaks. 3. During installation, the valve can be directly mounted on the pipeline according to the connection method. Under normal circumstances, it can be installed at any position along the pipeline, but it must be easy to maintain. Note that for globe valves, the flow direction of the medium should be from below the valve disc upwards; lift-type check valves can only be installed horizontally. 4. When using a pneumatic butterfly valve, it should only be operated in the fully open or fully closed position; it should not be used for regulating flow, to prevent erosion of the sealing surfaces and accelerated wear. Gate valves and threaded stop valves are equipped with reverse sealing devices; by turning the handwheel to its highest position and tightening it, leakage of the medium from the packing can be prevented. 5. When opening or closing the pneumatic butterfly valve, use a handwheel; do not employ levers or other tools to avoid damaging the valve components. Turning the handwheel clockwise closes it, while turning it counter-clockwise opens it. 6. Before installation, it is necessary to carefully check whether the pressure and diameter indicated on the valve meet the requirements for use, to eliminate any defects caused during transportation, and to remove any dirt from the valve components. 7. Valves that are stored for long periods should be inspected regularly; the exposed surfaces must be kept clean, with any dirt removed. When storing, ball valves should have both ends blocked and be in the open position, while pneumatic butterfly valves should have both ends blocked and be in the closed position. They should be stored neatly in a well-ventilated and dry indoor area; stacking or storing them outdoors is strictly prohibited.
