Why must the angle be greater than 15° when installing a pH meter on the side? Is it to prevent the medium from sticking to the probe?

Most conventional pH meters contain a liquid electrolyte; during measurement, gravity is used to allow chloride ions to penetrate outside the membrane, which requires a certain installation angle. Some products of imported brands have a special design that allows them to bypass this restriction; a product from a certain brand can be installed vertically upward.
