As the title suggests, I am seeking advice on how to select a pH meter for use in high-temperature conditions: 1. The working environment is a solution in sulfuric acid at 90°C; 2. The pH of the solution is approximately between 0 and 2; 3. There are a large number of graphite particles present. How do I choose an industrial pH meter with an error of ±0.1?

For all PH probes, operating in a continuous high temperature of 80 degrees is a significant challenge! It’s no problem for the temperature to exceed 80 degrees in an instant. When a pH meter is used for extended periods at temperatures above 80 degrees, its lifespan drops significantly. For such strong acids (a pH of 1 is equivalent to 0.1M hydrochloric acid), it is best not to use a pH meter, as pH measurement is only suitable for acids or bases with very low concentrations. Furthermore, at such temperatures, many pH electrodes cannot be used stably for a long time. If the sample is in a medium primarily consisting of dilute sulfuric acid, a conductivity meter can be used to measure the concentration.
