I would like to ask the teachers: What are the major changes in the latest version of the requirements regarding the grounding settings for instruments in control rooms? How should the grounding grid in the control room be set up?
4.1.5 In explosive gas environments, the metal enclosures, metal protective boxes, and metal wiring boxes of field instruments in non-intrinsically safe systems shall be provided with protective grounding, whereas such enclosures, protective boxes, and wiring boxes for field instruments in intrinsically safe systems need not have protective grounding. Change it, guys!
According to the standards, distribution boxes with a voltage of less than 36V do not require a protective ground, unless otherwise specified. Are there any mandatory requirements in the new rules?
