I’m a newcomer to water quality analysis instruments; I’ve only been in this field for a few months and am not yet very familiar with the process of selecting the right equipment. There are split-type and integrated ultrasonic level gauges – I don’t know what the differences between them are, nor under what conditions one should choose one over the other. I would appreciate some guidance from those who are more experienced!
We use all integrated ones. Split-type ones are probably used in places where corrosion is likely or where temperatures are high

Selection is based on operating conditions, ambient temperature, the height at which inspections are carried out, and the ease of conducting inspections.
Based on the actual usage conditions on site, factors such as ease of maintenance, convenience in reading readings, and ambient temperature come into play. It is also important to determine whether the processor can withstand the surrounding environmental conditions; if not, a split-type design is generally used
The main difference is that the integrated type allows for on-site display and observation, while the split-type can be connected to a control room for observation
Choose whatever the customer wants; split-type ones are more expensive
