What does it mean in the \"Double Flange Level Gauge Type\" field, where it is indicated as \"High-pressure side flange installed directly, low-pressure side flange installed remotely\"? Does it mean that the negative-pressure side of the double flange is connected to the high-pressure side of the device being measured, while the positive-pressure side is connected to the low-pressure side of that device?
A positive pressure setup on the high-pressure side means it is installed at the liquid level, with the transmitter located on the flange of the high-pressure side; in other words, the transmitter and the high-pressure side flange are integrated as one unit. The negative pressure side is equipped with capillary remote transmission, connected to the gas phase (low pressure side). In this way, the transmitter does not require a mounting bracket.

The installation diagram is included in the manual; the client should check it, as whether the installation is done correctly affects the accuracy of the transmitter’s measurements.
There are no capillaries on the positive pressure side; the mounting flange is integrated with the transmitter, while on the negative pressure side, a capillary remote-flange installation is used.
Just ask the manufacturer during installation; they will tell you exactly how to do it
The high-pressure side of the instrument, that is, the positive-pressure side as you mentioned, does not have a capillary tube, while the low-pressure side has one. During installation, the side without a capillary tube is placed below the equipment’s storage tank or on the positive-pressure side, whereas the side with a capillary tube is installed on the negative-pressure side or above it. This format is called an asymmetric structure, which can reduce the minor effects caused by capillaries. As shown in the image below, the high-pressure side is like this – there are no capillaries; the diagram shows only the high-pressure side, not the low-pressure side
I finally understand. We have used this type of level gauge many times to measure the level in negative pressure systems, and there was always error. Besides the brand, installation is also a very important issue.
