There is an acid tank in the company, with remote magnetic flap monitoring for the liquid level. There is a diaphragm valve at the top to control the acid flow. The diaphragm valve shows no internal leakage, and the magnetic flap float is functioning properly; however, after the upper valve is closed, the magnetic flap still rises slowly before returning to normal after a few minutes. What could be causing this? Could it be a change in the acid density, or could it be that the lining inside the tank has deformed and blocked the flange opening, resulting in poor connectivity?
There are many reasons for this. First, assuming that changes in the actual liquid level are not the cause, if the level rises slowly and then stabilizes at a certain level, one possible explanation is that the gas phase valve is not functioning properly.
