PCS7 is Siemens’ DCS system; based on process automation, it forms a complete TIA (Total Integrated Automation) architecture from bottom to top, ranging from sensors and actuators to controllers and then to the upper-level computer. Dear experts, are the sensors and actuators in the PCS7 system all from Siemens? Or are just devices that can communicate with PCS acceptable?
Like other brands of DCS, PCS7 supports sensors and actuators that use standards from other manufacturers
PCS7 is a DCS system; its software, CPU, and modules are from Siemens, while other measuring instruments and actuating devices can be from any manufacturer, as long as they are compatible with the signals from the IO modules
