The device used for measuring pressure is usually the primary gauge that can be seen on-site; it is actually a pressure transmitter that converts the pressure signals measured on-site into electrical signals for transmission to the control room. A PT is a measuring instrument installed on-site, and it includes a transmitter as well. PI is the pressure display on the indoor DCS.
This post shows the deficiencies in English! In English, PID can refer to proportionality. Integral and differential regulation can also refer to flowcharts with control points; replies show that there are responses of both types. If it were in Chinese, such two different answers wouldn’t occur.
In PID, P stands for proportional, I for integral, and D for derivative. In PT, P stands for pressure and T stands for remote transmission; together they refer to a remote pressure transmitter
