Can it be measured with a 1000V megohmmeter? How is the insulation resistance per core measured?
Cable insulation is generally measured by external parties; if measuring it oneself, use a megohmmeter to check the resistance between the three wires. If there is an armor or shielding layer, then measure the resistance of that armor or shielding layer as well
Can you use a megohmmeter? If it won’t work, then leave it alone; also, don’t use a 1000V megohmmeter – 500V is the maximum recommended.
Only the 1000v one, it’s been shaken...
