Isolated safety barrier and isolation barrier

Are an isolated safety barrier and a simple barrier the same thing? Is the isolation barrier simply short for an isolated safety barrier?
I don’t know. Do any experts in this field know?
Some irregular terms are really annoying.
It’s not the same thing. An isolated safety barrier isolates signals and also has the function of limiting power to meet intrinsically safe requirements. An isolation barrier merely serves to isolate signals; it does not provide the energy-limiting function of intrinsically safe systems.
