As shown in the diagram, the trigger for low-level alarm of the magnetically operated level gauge installed on-site is located below the magnetic float; therefore, it should not be able to provide an effective alarm! Please ask the instrument technician for guidance!

The installation location of the low-level trigger must be the same as the location where the float triggers a low-level signal in order for an alarm to be triggered; the device shown in the diagram is a remote-operated reed switch level gauge
Guessing from the picture: 1. This is not a level switch; it should be a level transmitter, probably of the KSR type; 2. On-site isolation is achieved using double-angle valves and high-weight grade flanges; this is suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure environments, such as equipment like steam drums ; 3. The on-site construction was not carried out in a proper manner: the instrument cables were not secured with gland locks, the cables were not placed inside conduit or trunking, and the level gauges lacked protective measures against heat.
The effective element inside is a float on this shaft; when the liquid level is low, the float drops, triggering an alarm
This is a remote-operated level transmitter, and what on earth is that magnetic flip board? The lowest point of the float is right above the lower flange.
Tied with wire – is this because it’s considered to be too accurate and sensitive?
The alarm trigger you mentioned should be a level transmitter; the float is quite long, so the transmitter is installed at a higher position
The red one? That is a reed switch level transmitter
How to install a level gauge along with two root valves? That’s quite important, right?
Based on my over a decade of experience, pressing it below doesn’t work; the float cannot be detected, and there is no sufficient trigger value
