Vertical installation issues of venturi flow meters

The venturi flowmeter is installed vertically, with a diaphragm box used for pressure measurement. Three sets of pressure tapping ports were installed. Why are the fluctuations in the three flow rates so large and inconsistent?
This post was last edited by hfrs on 2021-5-11 09:43. What’s the idea behind using a diaphragm box to measure pressure in a venturi? Is it prone to crystallization and clogging? When using a venturi tube, the pressure difference measured is usually small; can a diaphragm box provide accurate readings?
