I have a question: There are two sets of systems, and both of these DCS units are from Zhejiang University Control Systems. The SIS systems for these two sets of systems are connected to each other, with the SIS systems being from GE. I would like to know whether it’s possible to establish communication between the DCS units and the SIS system; in other words, can the data from one SIS system be transmitted to both DCS systems? Which is primary and which is secondary, DCS or SIS? ?

The master-slave response mode means that the master station sends request commands to read and write data in the slave station.

Generally, the DCS serves as the master station while the SIS acts as the slave station. In the case of the 300XP control system, when a 248 communication card is used, this system can function both as a master station and as a slave station.
If it is ECS700, the DCS can only serve as the master station; it is generally recommended that the DCS act as the master station while the SIS functions as the slave station.
If communication is possible, the SIS should be the primary system; the DCS cannot be used to control the SIS system
1 SIS, 2 DCSs. The requirement is to transfer data from the SIS to the DCSs. In this case, the SIS should take the lead and use a broadcast mode to send only the data, which is the simplest approach. In broadcast mode, the 2 DCSs receive and decode synchronously, without sending any response! This ensures optimal real-time performance; even if more DCS units are added, the communication speed will not slow down or become congested.
