Who has used RF admittance level switches and what were the results? Could I ask the experts here? What kinds of media are being tested? How effective is it?
This post was last edited by li*nji on 2018-12-8 at 10:31. I’ve been using it for over a decade; it works fine for materials that aren’t particularly sticky. Adjusting the sensitivity requires experience. We use it for level control in suspensions!
Sure, we used Siemens models before (they have high pressure); it’s best if the medium doesn’t stick to the surface, otherwise cleaning will need to be done periodically. The sensitivity can be adjusted, and it’s quite useful
It works well when used with liquids and dry powders. Media that stick easily had better not be used. Otherwise, the maintenance workload increases sharply.
