Do gas stations need to install combustible gas detectors? Some time ago, I went to a gas station for a completion inspection and found that there was no combustible gas detector system in place; they said it wasn’t necessary, which left me confused. Does it really mean that once the oil pipelines and storage tanks have a double layer of protection, there’s no need for a combustible gas detector system? Is there anyone expert who can give some guidance?
Judging from this specification, it seems that aerating is required only in that case
