There have been so many changes in the instrumentation industry over the past year. Do you have anything to say about the year 2018 that has passed and the year 2019 that is now here? http://www.jiweimeter.com/uploads/image/20190112/1547258851.jpg Machines transform the world, instruments help us understand the world, and the foundation for transforming the world lies in understanding it. As an important means for humans to perceive the world, instruments play an irreplaceable role in industrial manufacturing. With the increasing emphasis on intelligent manufacturing and the advancement of science and technology, the instrumentation industry is also facing new opportunities and challenges. Over the past year, we have been able to keenly sense the opportunities emerging in the instrumentation industry. In 2018, affected by the environmental crisis, building on the achievement of goals such as those outlined in the \"Ten Measures for Water Management\" and the \"Ten Measures for Air Quality Improvement\", China launched initiatives to win battles to protect the sky, water, and land from pollution. Various regions introduced corresponding plans and strategies, emphasizing the importance of environmental monitoring equipment. In the future, the prospects for instruments and meters will be boundless. Over the past year, we have also been able to sense the challenges faced by the instrumentation industry. Intelligence and big data have become the trends of the times, and the upgrading of instruments and meters is progressing quietly. Not to mention, compared with foreign instrument and meter manufacturers, the domestic industry lacks core technologies in this field. When relevant organizations purchase precision instruments and meters, domestic ones often find themselves in a rather awkward position. There will come a time to ride the winds and break the waves; I’ll set my sails high and cross the vast ocean. In addition to the opportunities and challenges faced by the instrumentation industry as a whole, it is evident that more and more professionals in this field are working diligently in their respective roles, fulfilling their duties without fearing challenges. Over the past year, through continuous research and development as well as testing by scientists and instrument manufacturers, a number of new instruments have emerged in China’s instrumentation industry. These new instruments have filled existing gaps in the domestic market and broken the technical and market monopolies held by foreign instruments. Products such as the newly introduced ultrasonic level gauges and magnetic switches in the automation category are highly favored by users and sought after in the market thanks to their excellent quality and outstanding cost-performance ratio. Over the past year, various instrumentation companies have continued to make progress in the market, delivering products and services with superior performance to their customers. In 2018, various exhibitions were held in China, including the Industry Expo, international trade fairs, and exhibitions focused on urban water services. Companies specializing in automation and other types of instruments brought their best products to these exhibitions. By interacting with customers and other businesses, and by focusing on market demands, they managed to produce and develop products of high precision and quality. This promoted the use of such instruments in various fields. At the same time, they provided comprehensive after-sales service, which helped to enhance the reputation of domestic instrument brands. Over the past year, many more professionals in the field of instruments and meters have continued to work at the front line, achieving remarkable results. By the end of 2018, State Grid and Southern Power Grid had essentially achieved full installation of smart meters, and significant progress had been made in the integration of multiple meters in various regions. Significant progress has also been made in the establishment of food rapid testing laboratories, surface water monitoring stations, and automatic atmospheric environment monitoring stations, which serve to create a safety barrier for people’s food and environment. At the same time, they provide important evidence for the formulation and implementation of environmental policies in our country. …… In 2018, it was the efforts of every professional in the instrumentation industry that drove its rapid development. However, the past can only be reflected on and summarized, while the future is in our hands. Driven by the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence, the future prospects for the instrumentation industry are boundless. The horn of 2019 has sounded, and for all those in the field of instruments and meters, it represents another brand new beginning.
