A question about programmable valves

Dear colleagues, in some processes, there are often a large number of programmable valves for various equipment – hundreds of them – which are controlled by DCS. However, production requirements do not call for feedback from these valves to be sent to the DCS due to the huge quantity involved. Is there any standard that allows for the omission of such valve feedback?

There are no such requirements, as there is no obligation to set up a reply. Where there is no law prohibiting it, there is freedom.
This is determined based on your production needs or safety requirements; I’ve never heard of any mandatory requirements of this kind.
