I would like to ask whether the cabinet room and the control room should be separated? We have relatively few DCS cabinets, which are located in the control room. Are there any regulatory requirements that dictate separation?
If I remember correctly, the regulations seem to require that they be separated from each other
We have dust prevention requirements here, and we also want to avoid tampering with the equipment; therefore, although the cabinet room and the control room are in the same building, they are separated by glass partitions
The control room is an area where people move around, while the cabinet room is where various cards are stored. The operation of these cards is affected by electromagnetic effects; human activities such as the use of mobile phones and the static electricity generated by people can also impact their performance. Additionally, the cabinet room is managed in a enclosed manner, while the control room is basically managed in an open manner; therefore, it is required that the control room and the cabinet room be designed separately.
