Five-port: It refers to a valve body with five ports, namely: P (intake port), A and B (two working ports connected to the two ends of the cylinder), R, and S (two exhaust ports). 2. Working mechanism: Power-off state (normal): The internal spring resets, and the valve core is on one side. At this point, port P and port B are connected, allowing compressed air to enter one end of the cylinder and push the piston ; At the same time, port A and port R are connected, allowing the air at the other end of the cylinder to be discharged through the exhaust port. Powered state: When current is applied to the coil, an electromagnetic force is generated that overcomes the spring force to draw the valve core together, thereby switching the gas path. At this point, port P and port A are connected, allowing air flow to enter the cylinder in the opposite direction ; At the same time, port B and port S are connected, while air from the other end is discharged through the exhaust port. Core function: By switching the air circuit, it drives the double-acting cylinder to perform reciprocating linear motion of extension and retraction. II. Main Functions and Applications 1. Core Function: Air path direction control: Precisely controlling the flow direction of compressed air to drive actuators (such as cylinders) to perform actions such as forward/backward movement and extension/retraction. Flow control: In conjunction with components such as throttle valves, it allows for the adjustment of the cylinder’s movement speed, enabling precise control over position and speed. 2. Typical application scenarios: Industrial automation production lines: controlling repetitive actions such as robotic arm grasping, material pushing, and cylinder clamping/unclamping. Mechanical equipment: machine tool fixtures, packaging machinery, conveying equipment, automated assembly lines, and other applications that require bidirectional power output. Special operating conditions: Suitable for two-acting cylinder systems that require independent control of bidirectional exhaust and precise control of the motion posture. III. Operation design: Equipped with manual reversal and locking buttons, which facilitate manual forced switching of the gas circuit during equipment debugging and fault troubleshooting, without relying on electrical signals. IV.
