What type of drive is better for an oxygen pressurizer?

For petrochemical enterprises, in areas that are not explosion-proof, what type of drive is better to use for belt drives and gear drives, as well as for oxygen compressors?
Oxygen booster – how much pressure is needed? Machine type? Piston compressors are relatively common; those capable of increasing pressure by 15.0 MPa use belt drive.
Thank you for your participation. It’s a piston-type system, with a pressure increase of only 3–4 kg/cm2; the pressure isn’t high. Mainly, the piston-type liquefied gas compressor in the previous unit, which used belt drive, was required to be modified. The oxygen compressor also falls under Category B; please verify the safety requirements.
