The DCS systems are pretty good. I used ABB systems a lot in the past – SM, FM, KM – and they had quite a few problems back then; now things have improved a lot. The updates are released frequently, and some of their functions seem more user-friendly than those of the central control systems. However, there are sometimes minor issues that, although they don’t affect functionality, can be annoying. Also, things like version updates come at a cost. For central control systems, I’ve used the 300 series; its software remains basically unchanged for many years, and its advantage lies in its stability. However, its price is generally higher than that of Honeywell’s products, with lower discount rates offered. Now they can basically meet most of the device requirements. If it’s SIS, I advise you to be cautious. I’ve used an Allen-Bradley system before, and it was passable – its advantage lies in its user-friendly interface in Chinese, which fits better with the operating habits of Chinese people; I won’t comment on anything else.
