I’m seeking advice from experts: what is a good choice for the liquid level control in a slaked lime solution storage tank? The solution crystallizes very easily, there is a large amount of steam in the upper gas phase, and the tank is equipped with stirring equipment
I don’t know what the normal operating liquid level for this tank is What is the temperature? What’s the pressure? 1. A flanged differential pressure level gauge can be considered, with a short pipe installed for heat tracing and insulation. 2. For cable-type radar level gauges, install short pipes with heating and insulation treatments.

Everything has been tried, but with no good results. The double-flange pressure taps often get clogged by crystals, and the radar keeps showing full scale after being used for a while; it only returns to normal after the crystals on the cables are removed
