Looking for materials on Instrumentation Fundamentals*

Are there any recommended resources for beginners learning about instruments? The more basic they are, the better; I want to first master the fundamental knowledge of instruments, such as concepts and principle explanations. I just graduated and am currently interning.
If you have graduated from a program in instrumentation or automatic control, you should already possess these basic knowledge. If not, it’s best to find a set of textbooks on instrumentation or automatic control to study – after all, textbooks are more systematic and comprehensive.
