Is this used for heat tracing? How does the steam enter and exit? What is the pipe on the left side of the steam trap for?
The pipeline on the left is a steam pipeline drain line, which leads to the condensate collection pipe via a trap. The process heat tracing line does not have such a large diameter ； At the same time, the design of the heat tracing station is not like this either.
This is the distribution tray for the heat-tracing steam pipeline; steam enters from above, and it exits through the DN25 pipes on both sides. The pipe to the left of the drain valve is used to convey the condensate away from the distribution tray

On the left side, the fluid returns to the trap after being used by the associated pipeline; the pipeline on the right side of the trap goes back to the collector. The other unconnected pipelines are for backup purposes. The larger pipelines lead to the steam and condensate recovery system. Additionally, the piping should be arranged starting from the farthest end of the main valve, in order to prevent freezing during winter when the system is not in use at the bottom
Are the 8 valves on the right side, which are not yet connected, the outlet pipes for steam heating, used to supply steam to heat instruments or process pipelines? Is the drain valve on the left the pipeline for discharging steam condensate? Can the condensate flow in this manner from bottom to top?
It should be an unfinished heat tracing tray; on the left is the condensate outlet pipeline.
