I use KingView to communicate via Modbus RS485 with the Zhejiang University Control JX300XP system in order to retrieve approximately 7 pieces of data, which are then stored in the SQL SERVER 2008 database on the computer running KingView. External platforms can retrieve data from our database over a TCP/IP network. My question is: if the computer running KingView gets infected while connected to the Internet, could it still affect the Zhejiang University Control DCS system through Modbus RS485 communication?
How lazy must someone be to be able to attack your system like this? !
You can try a secure bridge; it can only transfer data to you via the central control system.
For convenience, could you explain what a security bridge is and how it works, or rather, how it helps to isolate viruses?

I’m not quite sure about this either; it’s similar to a diode – only DCS can send messages to KingView, and the messages sent by KingView are intercepted by the bridge.

The enemies could use satellites controlled by the United States to activate these threats; as long as you turn on your computers, you’ll get infected.
