For the DN25 vortex flow meter, I have three options for signal processing: low-pass filtering, trigger value setting, and low-flow cutoff. When choosing low-pass filtering, I consider the density – 1200+, 640+, or 320+. If I select 640, what if the actual density is lower than that? Will the flow rate still be displayed?
As a supplementary note: The process specifies a density of 840, but I chose a density of 640. Since there is no flow rate, I selected 320 and that’s what was used
It is usually sufficient to set a low-flow cutoff value; there is no need to configure any filtering, as the density setting is already included in the parameter settings. If it is used for measuring gases, temperature and pressure compensation also needs to be taken into account; it is necessary to determine whether the gauge has built-in temperature and pressure compensation or requires external compensation.
