Should control valves have their instruments removed for maintenance?

I have a complaint: at our workplace, the bottom valve with a 150-inch diameter had to have its instruments removed for repair and then reinstalled. I wonder if there are other technicians who also have to remove such large valves in order to carry out repairs
Professional disassembly and assembly of equipment; the instruments are only used to disconnect signals and gas supplies
The 10” and 20” instruments are also being repaired; the division of tasks among the professionals isn’t clear

For DN150 valves, there are still complaints; here, as long as it’s a control valve, whether electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic, the instrumentation handles everything on its own. DN600/800 valves are quite common – cranes and forklifts are available to assist, and help with disassembly and assembly can also be obtained from others; one just does their own job
I suggest to your boss that you find an external maintenance company to handle these large valves and heavy-duty tasks. People within the team handle the management and technical aspects: lol
