For an ethylene oxide metering tank 3m high, two remote-level gauges and one local-level gauge are to be installed. Which type of level gauge would be suitable for each application?
Local measurement uses magnetic flap level gauges, while remote transmission makes use of radar and flange-type level transmitters
Magnetic float (local) + magnetic float remote transmission + double flange (or radar)
Dual-flange differential pressure level gauges or radar level gauges – the differential pressure type offers relatively high accuracy
Is there any requirement to select two remote level gauges with different measurement principles?
At present, I have chosen two differential pressure transmitters along with one magnetic flap level transmitter. Is there any requirement to use two remote level transmitters based on different measurement principles?
