For the variable-frequency control of PKS pumps, which module is used to adjust the pump’s frequency automatically in order to maintain the pressure in the pipeline? Do you need a PID module? Or how to combine them?
Use the frequency converter as a pressure compensation valve, and employ a standard PID block; the input is pressure, while the output of 4–20 mA corresponds to the minimum and maximum speeds of the frequency converter.
Does it form a cascade loop? Is the frequency variation used as a secondary variable for the main variable, which is the valve opening degree? Is that correct?
