For the pressurized sealed tanks of the F22, how is the differential pressure transmitter zeroed? After zeroing, when the root valve is opened, will the transmitter’s measurement of liquid level not be affected by the pressure inside the tank? What is the principle? Additionally, the production requirements specify that the DCS should display the weight – how can this be addressed? There is no weighing equipment on site. I would like to ask the experts for advice
Turn on the balance valve for high and low pressure; it won’t work – level → volume → density
For differential pressure transmitters connected via pressure guiding tubes, close the root valve and valve 2 of the three-valve assembly, then open the balance valve to zero the reading. If the process conditions permit, it is better to remove the drain screw or the pipe in order to allow the positive and negative pressure chambers to be in communication with the atmosphere. To display the weight, the medium density must be constant or change very little. Calculate the relationship between the liquid level and the tank volume, then multiply by density to obtain the weight. Enter the formula into the DCS to let it calculate automatically. Calculated in this way, it certainly can’t be compared to weighing; the requirements shouldn’t be too high. We do this on multiple devices; the operator wants to know roughly what the weight is.
Thank you, I have a basic understanding now; I need to learn more
Thank you; it’s just a bit too brief. Although it’s not a problem for you, as a beginner like me, I need to learn more about it.

Sorry, typing on my phone is slow; I can only write something simple
The signal from a differential pressure transmitter is related to the density of the material; for materials with different densities, the same signal corresponds to different liquid levels.
You’re too kind; I’ll reach out to you again for more advice in the future.
