Must a gas filtering pressure reducing valve be installed vertically relative to the ground?

I have just started working at a new company, and the gas filter-regulator valves installed on the pneumatic valves are installed in various ways, not in a standardized manner. There are so many of them that it’s causing me a lot of trouble. A few days ago, a group of experts came to conduct an inspection and identified some issues that need to be addressed; the valves must be installed vertically relative to the ground. Of course, I know that installing them this way is better, but there are simply too many valves, and they’ve given me ten days to make the necessary adjustments. So I’m hoping to get some advice: is there any specific standard that requires valves to be installed this way, or is it just based on practical experience? I hope those who know more about this topic can share their knowledge with me, preferably by providing specific regulations or standard names
Use the manual and other materials to persuade them
‘Experts are unable to identify the problems; there’s no need to look for standards – just make the changes. The ‘experts’ in our company’s cabinet room insisted on adding anti-static grounding wires, although the design specifications do not require this; therefore, we had to make changes
If there is water, dust can be removed; how can it be removed if it’s not vertical?
From an aesthetic perspective, it is best to unify the direction.
