Two pressure points are taken on the same pipeline, with the pressure transmitters installed at different locations; as shown in the figure, the range settings should be different, right? Does transmitter A need to have the height difference taken into account?

The slight pressure due to the height difference can generally be ignored. The relationship with the range is not significant anymore.
The range remains unchanged, while zero offset can be adjusted.
The pressure generated by the height difference is too small relative to the range of the pressure transmitter, and can be completely ignored. Unless your transmitter has very high precision and sensitivity, a difference will be observed in the measurements. If such high requirements exist, zero offset adjustment can be used to eliminate this effect.
The pressure measurement range is 1–16 MPa; the height difference of the measurement tubes is 3 m. The medium being measured is water, and the additional pressure is 3 mH2O, which is approximately equivalent to 0.0019 MPa – a value that is even smaller than the instrument’s allowable error, so it can be disregarded.
The issue is considered in detail; there is indeed a height difference, and since it’s water, the pressure of that layer of water should be taken into account.

I agree with your view. Even if a pressure transmitter has a precision of 0.075, the allowable error is still 0.012 MPa
