Operating parameters: 20 bar of steam before the valve, 10 bar of steam after the valve; normal steam flow rate is 27 t/h, steam density is 0.8, and the temperature ranges from 195 to 220 degrees. Question: What diameter should be chosen? What is the CV value? What type of valve should be used?

Up to 220 degrees – it’s not considered a high-temperature valve. Why use a valve cover with radiators when a regular one will do just fine?

Any valve supplier can provide you with these parameters; for steam applications, it’s best to use sleeve valves with a heat-dissipating type of valve cover
