How can the lifespan of electric temperature control valves be extended? In fact, it can be done from many perspectives; what’s important is that everyone pays more attention when using the machine. This phenomenon often occurs when the system is used for the first time or after a long period of inactivity followed by restart; during the preheating process of the secondary heating medium, it is necessary to wait patiently until the system has completed several cycles before the desired temperature is reached, or else the bypass can be used to increase the steam supply. Once the temperature reaches or approaches the required level, the bypass valve should be closed to prevent overheating. 2. Check whether the temperature setting is too low; adjust it through the controller to increase the set temperature of the outlet water. If the outlet water temperature remains unchanged, the following aspects should be checked: 1) Verify whether there is a discrepancy between the temperature measured by the sensor and that shown on the local display instrument; if so, make adjustments through the controller. 2) Based on the actual operating heat load, determine whether the temperature control valve is undersized or the pressure of the primary heating medium is too low; in such cases, the bypass valve should be slightly opened as a supplement. 3) The valve stem gets stuck due to heat, preventing the valve from opening; in this case, it is sufficient to use an Allen key to gently adjust the control valve knob in a counter-clockwise direction. 4) Check whether the drainage of the heat exchanger steam trap is blocked or has excessive resistance, which may cause water blockage; if so, it is necessary to open the steam trap bypass.
