An electric control valve, also known as an electric control valve, is an important actuator instrument in industrial automation process control. As automation increases in the industrial sector, its application in various industrial production areas is becoming increasingly widespread. Classified by structure, electric control valves can be divided into electric single-seat control valves, electric double-seat control valves, electric sleeve control valves, electric three-way control valves, and so on. Here, we will introduce the main features of the electric three-way control valves that are commonly used in environmental protection equipment. Electric three-way control valves are typically used for regulating two fluids in heat exchangers, as well as for simple proportioning control. It can replace two single or double-seat control valves with just one, saving on pipeline installation and investment while taking up less space. Therefore, electric three-way control valves are widely used in industrial sectors such as power, chemicals, metallurgy, petroleum, light industry, and environmental protection. Electric three-way control valves are suitable for environmental protection equipment, and they possess the following key features: 1. The flow direction acting on the valve core is always in a direction that facilitates flow, thus ensuring good operational stability. 2. In addition to the guidance provided by the bushing at the valve cover, the side surface of the valve core also serves as a guide for the inner surface of the valve seat; the large guiding area ensures reliable operation. 3. The servo amplifier utilizes deep dynamic negative feedback, which improves the regulation accuracy. 4. Electric actuators come in various forms and can operate with 4–20 mA.DC or 1–5 V.DC. 5. Electronic electric control valves can directly control the valve opening degree using a current signal, without the need for a servo amplifier. 6. Saves on automation investment; compared to single-seat, double-seat, or sleeve control valves, the same system can be assembled with one fewer valve, simplifying the system and reducing costs. 7. The bellows-sealed type provides a complete seal around the moving valve stem, preventing fluid leakage. 8. Three-way control valves are divided into split-type and combine-type types, which are used to split or combine fluids; the choice of type should be determined based on the actual operating conditions at the site.
